I dislike intensely....weddings. Four kids, 2 daughters- the sons have done the right thing and not got married (yet) but the girls...... the whole shebang. Church, reception, wedding dresses- now I know why I'm destitute....hehehe. BUT... I do have two glorious grand-daughters which I wouldn't swap...

Thank you for going easy on the Doggies, PeterS--- but they really don't deserve it. Lacking in sooooo many areas.

Missed the GOMC again today, it's now over a month since I was at a meeting, maybe they'll be looking for a new secretary...hehehehe.........

Ah, it's nice to catch up with the GOMC thread again...... I was looking forward to A2013 for months ( and the preceding auctions) but alas the blood gods had other ideas. I had a fabulous time in Sinney, came home and went down hill fast, so much so that 3 days before A2013, I was raced to hospital...

Talking of the lack of posts- Philly's internet connection is on the blink again. Seems his computer is \o.\k. but it will not connect to the net.

Nothing new, just a few glitches along the way.

What a lot of codswallop has been said in the last few posts on this thread. There is a very good reason for us being grumpy old men. WE ARE. Yes our sense of humour is best understood by grumpy old persons, whether in Australia or the many countries in which there are GOMC members. Why we even have...

I don't know who'll buy the coffee next Tuesday, neither do you ( unless of course you let the moths out for their monthly spin.) I'm still trying to catch up on the money that it cost because some unnamed GOMC (not Harry) kept bidding me up....hmmmmmm, plus the extra 17.5% on every dollar.
