Victorian era India also used several series of numbered cancellations. '101' can be Khandwa, Gurdaspur, Nowhatta or Jaulnah, for instance.

A nice series, of say a hundred or so, postcards featuring indigenous wildlife, with matching indicia? Hmmm ... there are still 500 or so Indian States that never yet got around to issuing stamps or postcards.

I have no idea whether this stamp is genuine or not.

However, given the seller's demonstrated record of selling doctored stamps, and his refusal to accept returns, I'd suggest you ignore this. Wait for a copy with an unimpeachable certificate and provenance.

On first principles, you should receive the stamp you won and paid for. It should only be substituted with your agreement.
