For those going to the Stampboards Dinner at the Imperial Hotel on Sunday night, I can confirm that it is a 15 minute stroll from the Exhibition building (that includes being stopped at crossings 4 times). Margo insisted that I test the beer to make sure that it was safe/fit for Stampboarders consum...

For those with a smartphone or tablet, you can download a World Stamp Expo app from Google Play or Apple App store.

I've just downloaded it, and I think it's pretty good. You can use it to find out about exhibits whether you're at the expo or not. I think it's a world's first for a stamp show!

There is little likelihood that the game will be a sellout (Sydney just doesn't have the following here for that). Here's an example of Charles Rideout's machine cancel. Machine Number 1 coded HS and dated November 8th 1859. A nice strike on a large folded letter to Paris.
