India S.G. 301-303 304 305-308 O150a and the start of the set 309-324. Though O150a is not the most expensive of King George the VI Indian stamps the set it is part of is. Hi, don't have much to share for your thread. The errors where great. This is a poor fragment of a cover no front what so ever. I found it worth while having for how well the stamp is centered under the embossed crown. Used in Sliema looks like a receiving strike else where with a Gibbons number 53 ...

I tend to have accumulated all mine in large lots and have spent little on them over all. I tend to look at the higher price used

ones I see and think not with out a certificate.

The usual date for the 1d Engraved seems to be DE 5 13. They do also exist with DE 3 13 dates (and later ones, like JY 17 14). The official issue date for the stamp is December 9 1913. Thats a nice cover I have since realised that a number of what I thought where varieties where actually forgeries. The 2 was easy to remove and 5 was added thus adding 150% value to the stamp. This was actually done a fair bit so a range of forgeries and legitimate errors are availble. S.G. magazine...
