It's difficult to see for sure who the printers are from your scan :( If its the Bradbury or Waterlow Re-engraved then £3.00 is about right :) If its the 1913 Waterlow (more likely looking at the shades) then £10.00 the pair Don't look the right shades for DLR, (certainly not for the 2s6d) but if so...

Always Prinz for me.

I find that with the Hagner sheets the plastic strips tears off too easily. I've never had a problem with Prinz.

I can confirm as others have suggested it is SG185. A guide retail price for average mint would be about £7500.00.

You can order them direct from Royal Mail for £15.99 plus postage

The order code is PA707

Sorry but I don't have a picture of it.

An alternative is to use a cigarette card albums inserting the 2x sleeve pages.

You're right, its not the postman's fault.

It was just in a thin brown envelope with a sheet 160gm paper wrapped round.
No protection to corners and no protection to edges, hence a damaged corner and damaged bottom edge on each.

Hi Markrm, Your stamp is printed by DLR not Harrison. Take a look at my earlier post where I show both printers of the 1d side by side. I cant find any listed flaw in regards to the white speck so it is probably a printing flaw probably caused by a piece of foreign matter on the printing plate. Iggy

Stampboy, it looks as though there is a large thinned area in the centre of the stamp.

If this is the case then the value would be greatly decreased.

Can you please post a scan of the back.

Value for the stamp without faults would be £125-£140. But it look as though there could be an issue with the bottom right corner and possibly a cut in the left margin.

I don't know if the same applies to Australian George V stamps, but with GB the sheet stamps should have an upright watermark, the watermark would only be inverted if the sheet was fed into the press incorrectly.
