yes right.
sometimes, the perforations on Rs. 5 stamps, which is most commonly used, is so poor that, many get torn while separating and gets damaged. |

I wondered what is the importance of this date, and found out that the Indian National Anthem - Jana Gana Mana.... was first sung in Calcutta Session of the Indian National Congress on 27 December 1911.

There is a philatelist in Bangalore, India, - Prof. V. S. Yalvigi, who has collected postmarks right from year 2001 - 01/01/01 so on and waiting to complete the one with 12/12/12
even Malta Post has issued covers with those special date postmarks. |
