Some of the printer's marks are barely discernable.
These appear on each side of the larger size sheets of early PNG. Being central they are also where the sheets tend to get folded post-production.

Thank you for those images Micky. Hundreds of these were produced for members of the Papuan Philatelic Society at its peak, and without this valuable ongoing record (which I am attempting to capture) many of the varieties would have been lost for all time. |
