Definite Specialist, I have 1 Drawer in my filing cabinet for my hobby, but it's contents are priceless to me, and me alone. I only collect 1 country, mint, never hinged, complete booklets and booklet singles, perforated varieties, colour varieties, reprints, imperforate pairs, as much as I can get....

Norm, I have the stamps already valued for replacement, as i know what i have spent over the years, and as such they are insured for replacement for $20k, has been for some years I sent photos and a complete list (which i update each year) to the insurance company, i know if i was to sell these they...

I find it interesting discovering unknown places like this, so i got on Google Earth and entered "Harwood Island NSW" and it took me there straight away, then viewed around the place

Its nice to see these locations that become familiar on stamps or postmarks

I only collect Mint US stamps, US history is very well portrayed on your stamps, unfortunately i find modern Australian stamps rather boring, kids playing on the beach, santa on a surfboard blah, blah, blah, no offense to anyone who collects these but they do not get...

They are just stored in a Lighthouse "Kabe" brand pvc stock sheet (typical varied sizes) i presume its PVC but definately not paper/cardboard type product

I live by the beach so maybe the salt air may cause this, not sure

Thanks for your advice,

Do collectors usally just accept this or replace it with a new copy (which may turn as well)

Not sure on what to do in relation to my collection, just in case this may start to spread to other orange stamps, should these items be isolated or just displayed as normal?

Your link was appreciated, i know it said to use hydrogen peroxide to help these stamps, but do you use it on mint stamps and do you only use on the stamp face, never done this before
