If you auto-correct you images before posting them, they will be easier to see.

Image

Just a suggestion.

Also good manners to do your introductory post before the moderators kick you.

Thank you for your suggestion about auto-correct.

And i am sorry about my manners I did not want to be rude. Μy English is poor and i dont really know what to write. I use translate to do this work. I am not a collector.

I am just helping a friend to find out if his album with stamps have any value. Also thank you Global Administrator for your comment.

I have some more from France, Germany and Cuba.

Alexander - keep adding scans - members here can assist.

You type English far better than near all of us type Greek. :)

Please post them here Alexander.

As Glen says, the Polish stamps have minimal value.

Your first 3 US stamps are from 1959 - 1962 and are common postage stamps with minimal value. The 4th is an Air Post (Air Mail) Stamp from 1962 known as the "Montgomery Blair" issue, again...minimal value.

While they might not be valuable monetarily, they are a nice addition to a US collection.

Hi Alexander, welcome to Stampboards.

This stamp is from Barbados and is catalogue number SG644, described as Intelsat over the Atlantic, it is the 50c value in the 1979 Space Projects Commemoration set. It is currently valued by Stanley Gibbons as 60p used (about .75 Euros). This is part of a nice set of six stamps and a mini sheet.

Hope this helps? Enjoy your collecting!

Jon

Alexander,

Just a hint from a friendly Moderator...

If you post multiple images, they look better if you put a "return" between each - a long column of images is easier to see than a really wide post

I've edited your earlier posts for you, so no problem there.

All the best, and enjoy your collecting.

Gavin

Thanks! It's free to keep your images in there forever so no need to delete them! :)

It's Stampboards policy to leave pics in Photobucket forever so they don't disappear from threads.

Hi Alexander,

I hope your friend will enjoy his stamps and that you will find some interest in them as well. You are a good friend to this person for going to this trouble. Unfortunately, there are no significantly valuable items in your scans. I would think that you could get around US$ 25 or so for the lot. Not much more I'm afraid.

Best Regards,
Joel.

Alexander that is where google is a time waster.

The Auction you found was for a steel printing plate. UNIQUE.

You have the common issued stamp above, printed the millions most likely.

Alexander - use the 'PREVIEW' Button first - the text and images and links will not get all messed up that way!

The Algeria collection looks nice. Not huge, but some real value. A big step above anything else I see here (most of which is easily recognizable as of virtually no monetary value).

What you see on that web page is incorrect. The mint
price as well as the quantity issued are both wrong. But it
doesn't really matter since your stamp is used and the used
price is correct (i.e. zero).

You are right Figmente, and I overlooked that in my estimate. The best page by far is that of the postage dues of 1962. They catalog for a couple of hundred dollars. I would put the revised estimate for the lot at around US$70.
