My ancestry is so astounding that even I can't believe it!

Oh you must postrate yourself if you want to speak to me....

NO Postrate! (fall down on the floor) what are you thinking?

I used to have feelings of grandeur now I'm just a big head!

When someone used my credit card number, they wrote a cheque to themselves (pretending to be moi) for $10,500. Stupid bank let them cash it without any id? I dealt with the Security people from Mastercard, but they never gave me any specific details... :?

I own a one fifth share in an American battleship. When it is decommissioned we are going to get it and sail it back to Australia.

We won it in a ten pin bowling match against a bunch of Marines who assured us it was their ship.

The very first FDC I "made" myself was the Freedom From Hunger issue - at a post office of Sheung Wan, Hong Kong. That was the nearest one from where I spent my childhood - the famous Cat's Street!

Yes it rained here in Perth too. 40mm in one day. The runoff from the roof refilled my swimming pool. As you can guess I live in the city.

I share a birthday with Sir Rowland Hill.

Just the day and month... Not the year!

Obviously I was destined to collect stamps. Either that or reform the postal system again which is probably beyond the capabilities of any mere mortal at this point.

Thanks for the good wishes. Surgery went well. :D Must not put weight on foot for 6-8 weeks. :( Using crutches.

When they went in, they screwed & wired together the broken metatarsal, and also found an additional fractured bone.

Living in England I am therefore sometimes cold, and (more often) wet

Still enjoy building Balsa and Stick, rubber powered Aircraft Models from the 1950s like the AMA certified "Scientific Special" - 21 inch wing span... great hobby as well- terrific for relieving the boredom index, plus learn all about aerodynamics.
