Oh, I forgot to post that I sent them last Thursday....or Friday. The letters were a bit heavy, so a bonus is that there is a US rate stamp on the cover.

Did it fill any holes you had?

Got mine today too, thanks very much! They will definitely fill a bunch of holes for me, plus will provide fodder for trading too.

I was very impressed with Canada Post, because the letter came with this protective sheet around it:

Not sure if that was done at your end, or if they caught it mid-travel and protected it. It was bundled with another letter I got from Bahrain today.

Nice stamp on the letter, thanks!

I'll email you to figure out what to send you in return.

Thanks again,
Jean

Don, if you are willing to wait, I've got lots of recent Japan that is still on paper, not sure when I'm going to get around to soaking it. I've sent you an email with other suggestions too - let me know.

My PO does that for all letters I request be hand sorted. I'll hand them a bunch and say: "I don't care about these ones, but these two please hand sort", and they put those labels around those letters, no problem. I have a very nice local PO. I like them so much I give them candy a couple times a year! :D

Sorry some of the stamps in the bottom row os the stock sheet got cut off, the sheet was too long for my scanner, and I didn't realize until I'd already put the stamps into glassines. :(

I'll post these next week, work permitting, along with some Spain.

Don, just letting you know I'm posting a letter to you tomorrow, topicals plus about 360 Spain. Hope they fill some holes for you.

I received it yesterday. Looks like it will fill a few holes. 8) If you want to also send those other stamps you spoke of, I sent you fifteen covers this morning, each with a different recent stamp, with about 6 to 9 modern Canada in a glassine in each cover. The overwhelming majority of them being from the latter half of 2007 through present.

Yep, I got your letter last Friday. Thanks. I saw some ships and horses in there.

It takes about 8 or 9 hours for me to fill nine books. I use boiling kettle water to make them come off faster.

Maddog, did you get the letters? You have to open them, because there is a hand cancelled number 8 envelope inside every number 10 envelope I sent.

Unacadonego,

Recieved 12 covers from you today. Very much appreciated. I will scan and post in the other thread later. Too bloody hot right now, 36 deg C and no air conditioner so I have to get out to the pool before I melt. But wanted to take the time and thank you.
