The Philatelic Society of Western Australia is holding it's Centennial Stamp Exhibition in Perth from 17th. to 20th. May.

Well organised as usual with welcome drinks at the Claremont Yacht Club on Thursday night, an auction with around 900 lots late Friday, Palmares dinner on Saturday night and lots of things in between to interest any level of collector.

BTW - this is the last National exhibition for qualification into the Melbourne 2013 FIP World Stamp Show so the competition will be tough.

I'll be going to it and I'd like to catch up with other Stampboards members over there.

plus my first go at a 1 frame postcard exhibit....

On the Saturday morning there will be 3 authorised FIP Seminars. [ALL ARE WELCOME]. The one on Traditional Philately will be done by yours truly [no eggs or rotten tomatoes will be allowed in the room]

The other two are on Postal History and Postal Stationery.

There will be an APF / A2013 stand with new items for sale for A2013.

Also as a first their will be a APF minisheet for sale [limited to 250]. They will be numbered and one every year will be issued. The money raised will go towards the cost of booth hire for the APF at National and One-frame shows.
With the high cost of running exhibitions the APF expect to pay their way.
I will be manning the stand on Thurs/Frid [certain hrs] so come and say hello and ask questions about A2013 or anything to do with stamps.
