'Please Mr Postman' was first recorded by the Marvelettes in 1961. It was recorded by the Beatles a couple of years later.

An earlier post-related song was 'I'm gonna sit right down and write myself a letter', recorded by Fats Waller in 1935.

Can anyone come up with any earlier post or stamp- related songs?
