Certainly not shelved Jcadiram. Unfortunately a number of urgent personal commitments (including a death in the family) have had to take precedence. Hope to finish 2009 within the next fortnight, and then start 2010.

I have a problem in that it is not easy to find good images for the self adhesives. I will be placing a request for assistance on another thread shortly.

A great project. :idea:

One important suggestion, as we now understand far better how the 'spiders' at google work, is to add the YEAR in every case ... self evident to us on this thread what year we are on, but not evident to a 'spider' to index by!

And bleedingly obvious tho it may be to use the word "stamp" ideally needs to be in every listing.

And the PO Bulletin has issue date for each one, so if that can be added, it really makes each entry far more valuable and searchable going forward.

And people google search by 55c not 55 cents etc, and typically search for a short string like "55c The Castle stamp 2008", and if the past we only matched on 2 of those search words out of 5, so if for future we can use not this -

Australia SG 3102 55 cent, multicolored. Australia's Favorite Films. The Castle. Perf 14.6 x 13.86.

but this

Australia 2008, November 3, SG 3102 55c, multicoloured. Australia's Favourite Films. "The Castle" stamp. Perf 14.6 x 13.86.

It will really get us a lot more hits - and new members. :)
