Thought I'd share a couple that have raised their beaks in the past couple of days

All of these are from Czechoslovakia, my latest country sorting project and first up is this one from 1983 which I though quite subtle..

SG2688, Scott 2469, from the 9th Biennial Exhibition of Book Illustration for Children, this one is entitled 'Boy looking from window at birds in tree' by Zbigniew Rychlicki

Next we have from 1987 SG2892, Scott 2668, also from the book illustrations series but this time the 11th Biennial Exhibition of Book Illustration for Children, this is 'Birds on Nest' by Elzbieta Gaudasinska.

and then jumping backwards to 1975, again from the Biennial Exhibition of Book Illustration for Children (this must be the 5th one by a process of deduction

) we have two images, first off the low value 20h, which I think is lovely, entitled 'Pelicans' by Nikita Charushin, SG2229, Scott 2013,

Followed by SG2232, Scott 2015, 'Peacock' by Klaus Ensikat.
