So many very nice blocks! It is a treat to see them all.

Here are a couple of Austrian ones:

This one is an impostor being actually three strips of eight on piece but still interesting.

This one from Poonch

(SG 50 - the 1 Anna on blue wove bâtonné paper) arrived today. I already had a larger block of the same stamp, but greed overcame me when I saw it on eBay :D

Note the pencil lines drawn to help the printer place the stamps ... As the poet Keats so aptly put it
'Beauty is truth, truth beauty,—that is all
Ye know on earth, and all ye need to know.'

The 9c surcharge on the 8c Opal was done in anticipation that postage would increase (from 7c) to 9c. In the end, the rate increased to 10c. We would never have seen the surcharge but for the fact that some got out early (before the date they would have been issued). The Post Office decided to release them as a result, even though they were now not usable for standard letters, to avoid the appearance of impropriety.

The legendary block from Australia, that I just listed on my Rarity Page for $A15,000 and a hinged one for $A12,000. 1919-1920 Ross Smith UK-Australia First Aerial Mail stamp Vignette - MUH, well centered.

Easily the most iconic airmail related piece from the Southern Hemisphere. Has a clear photo Certificate from the legendary Enzo Diena – “the block is original, has complete mint original gum, and is perfectâ€. Eustis AAMC 27B is “from $18,000†for HINGED copies.

Yvert Tellier #1, and Michel listed too. 10,000s of fakes of this, crude to good, are peddled on ebay etc. NONE of those have watermark – this being the Multiple Large Crown over A, SG Type 6a - as can be seen here.

This pane was recalled by the US postal service because the photo of Bill Pickett, (second row second stamp) was wrong photo.

This is Bills brother.

Wow!! :D

Spain_1850, this is a very impressive bunch!

I especially like the block of 9 of 4 cuartos 1860 orange. Superb margins, neat light CDS cancels, and well balanced! :D

Here is (partially shown) an uncut sheet for booklet blocks. Found three different sheets (5pf+10pf, 5pf+20pf, 10pf+20pf) in the back of a sheet file with other stuff I picked up at auction for $9.75
(If) I deciphered (old) Michel correctly, are either MHB1-3 (Dm1400) or MHB4-6 (Dm2500)

Already off parcel 5x5. Would like to have seen if any other postage came with the $7.50. Also, they took care of reuse with the canceller :)

Here is a nice block I received today, it is a block nine with the central 3 stamps without watermark sg431 and sg431b they don't catalogue a lot but I thought they were nice.

I was surprised gibbons don't list pairs with and without watermarks?

Anyway at £3.70 it had to be a bargain!
