If you really want some " Uglies " try the court fee and revenue stamps of the Feudatory States.

They put the postage stamps to shame and some are truly faces that only a mother could love.

Welcome Sascha! And thanks for posting that cover! Gibbons (at least) used to include Nepal among the Indian States, and I think it was a black day when they removed it :(

Those Kathmandu printings of the Shiva over the Himalayas types have always seemed to me to have a lot of potential. I hope you'll show some more covers of them. (And, by all means, don't give away your Cochin!)
