Search result presentation, a request

If this can already be done, then I don't know how.

Using search typically gives me hundreds of results. Then I need to view a dozen topics to find the one I was looking for.

The search results do not show topic or thread headings, only numbers ... is it possible to force the search results to show topic headings?

Muruk, if you type in the keyword(s) that you are looking for into the Search button to the right of the FAQ button, that gives you the thread titles with the results.

But, from experience, I don't know how far back the results will go as there was some problem when an upgrade occured losing the very early results of the boards.

Not only can you search for a specific word in a heading but you can choose WHAT Forum you want to look in - if you wish.

I was actually looking to do a search in a specific forum. This really narrows down the search results. Good to know that this is possible.
