I had a quick read - will delve into more deeply soon.

Especially liked the New Years Resolutions, especially after mislaying my tweezers yesterday

Cheers,

Robert

November–December 2012 Stamp Insider Cover

I apologize for having posted the incorrect cover for the Stamp Insider, which showed the cover for the September-October cover. I have added a new post showing the correct cover for the November-December issue.

I promise to do better in the future.

Sincerely,
The Editor

I have a few of those cards myself, as ephemera to my country-collections--Thailand, Indo-China. From casual searches on eBay, there seems to have been a variety of series...there's ones that include stamp(s) as part of the design; ones showing a group of stamps.

Even a series titled "mail delivery in X", and showing posties around the world. Although being ca. 100 years ago, one might have to take a grain of salt the idea that someone rode around on a camel or in the dress uniform of a Cossack with a shoulder bag of letters, smiling as they hand envelopes to rural folk who were surely illiterate. Ah, the romanticism of the bygone days.
