Hi
I understand this auction is manned by volunteers so I would not hold you to the same standards as a major auction house. However, I did put in bids for an auction that ended 5 days ago. I certainly would like to know if any of my bids were successful. There is no indication on the site as to when and how bidders would be notified, nor are selling prices announced.

Can you clarify how do you proceed?
Regards

Memphre

Hello Memphre,

The staff usually wait a few days after the end of the auction for mailed bids. I suspect that you will be notified by Thursday or Friday.

If not, please email me.

Best wishes,
AndrewG

Thanks Andrew.

I was forgetting the «mail bids» aspect of this auction, it entails delays when compared with electronic bidding.

I certainly can wait a few more days.

Regards

Memphre

Hi,

The prices realized for Oxfam Canada's Mail and eMail Bid Sale #13 are available at http://www.ohmygosh.on.ca/stamps/oxfam13 .

Note that unsold lots are available at 50% of the estimate.

A big thank you to everyone who took a look, who bid, who donated material for this sale, and to those who volunteered.

A thank you also to Stamp Boards.

Best wishes,
AndrewG

I think it might be Shorncliffe rather than Thorncliffe.

Hi Machaggis52,

I did searches both for "Shorncliffe" and for "Thorncliffe". Shorncliffe is much more likely.

I should be at the Oxfam office on Tuesday, and I will let them know.

Thank you,
AndrewG
