Have commenced a new blog - its fairly basic at the moment and over time I will expand on it. I have included a link on the right hand side to StampBoards and will place a more visually appealing link when I have time.

Here is the link to my blog:

Rob

Hi Rob,

Nice blog! Love the template by the way...the only thing now is to continue it :D and that takes a lot of discipline. Just look at my website to see how much further I've got to go!

Hi Guys - have placed a link up on my main website http://www.pocketinfo.net some people have been asking me for a good community to come to relating to stamps so the banner is now on the site. I get people coming to my site looking for trending information on various locations so i have a landing page for each country and eventually every major city. Now that I am back into stamps again I will start to put more stamp related content onto the site. Thanks Robert

Well, I finally got around to adding a stampboards.com link to my webpage at http://www.DCStamps.com.

DCStamps is designed to share my interest in collecting stamps and banknotes from Dead Countries and begin documenting what can be a daunting area for collectors. While I enjoy the organizing and collecting aspect of the hobby, I find that understanding the historical context, and the political situation of the country from which the stamp or banknote came from, adds huge insight into the individual pieces of history we collect.

I have two additional reasons for this site: 1) to organize and share my collection through my "virtual albums", e.g. scanning my stamps and "virtually pasting" them to album pages which I design, and 2) to teach myself web design.

Although it is not a blog, I do use WordPress, mostly because I wanted to use the tools for people to leave comments; the thought of trying to design such a feature myself was just too much. (I am really impressed with the admins at stampboards, this is a huge effort and a well functioning site)

So, please drop by for a visit, and feel free to leave a comment on something related to dead countries. Please note, I am slowly building the site and adding countries all the time. Hopefully, over time, it will be a valued reference for collectors in this area.

Michael

Everyone can now use Stampboards from the KoalaStamps Facebook page, without leaving Facebook, by just clicking the Stampboard's logo that's shown here:-

Now there's no excuse for not giving KoalaStamps a great big LIKE.

Thanks for the links guys!

And a reminder to all others - if you have a blog, or website or society site etc, did you realise that by linking to stampboards YOUR site generally gains a LOT of google standing and boost, as we have a googlebot glued to us 24/7 these days, indexing and trawling threads on our site 500,000 times a MONTH!

And if you have an ebay template, or ebay store etc, please add our logo and link there too – the board is growing at a cracker of a pace, and YOU can help us reach new collectors .. thank you in advance!

We will reach both the 9000 members, and 3 MILLION posts milestones in the next weeks pretty soon – remarkable figures.

Howdy Stampboarders ( or stamphoarders like me),

Just setup a link to stampsboards form my website. I get a huge amount of internationals visiting my site so hopefully it will link many back to the stamp chat board. AND I have given it first page position, at the bottom but still on first page.

http://www.alistairgraham.com

I've setup a stamp trade webpage where I am listing a lot of stamps over the next few weeks for trade or purchase and giving stampboard members first pick and chose. Later they will go on ebay or Delcampe if I have the energy.

http://www.alistairgraham.com/Stamps/

Once I get my posts over 20 I will try and list some of the better stuff on here for you to
make an offer.

kindest regards

Alistair

PS. If you get into my art gallery and retrospective web pages, a polite WARNING some of the nudes are rather revealing and 16+ mature audience category. I would probably look to trade some of those for stamps as well. All the nudes are MUH mint unhinged and none of the backs have been licked. If you are curious at all.....

Hello guys,

I am a software engineer and I have a lot of interest in philately. Using the knowledge in software development, I had developed an online application, http://www.exonumi.com to allow anyone to easily archiving for any of one's collection - that he may choose not to share with others (private collection) or make it available for reading by other people.

This will encourage learning, proper archival and helping other people who has the same item to get information. As more material added, this will increase "resource" for people to refer to.

For example, I had transcribe Japanese characters with its meaning, put some historical story so, if anyone who HAS the same piece, would understand what is in his possession:

http://www.exonumi.com/?page=publish&id=1.57.SP.1ef98

It is already working, but I do from time to time making update and now working to incorporate comments feature; so visitor can leave comment or question.

To register at the website is free and I had made it as easy to use possible.

As I am intending to make the website available for people who has the same interest and the goal to standardized the "archival" process, I would WELCOME any comment and suggestion to make the website useful for the rest of us, the collectors.

Please check the website here:
http://www.exonumi.com

Hi Guys,
I finally got around to posting a link to this forum on my personal site at
http://DD-DESIGNS.CO/
I did have to modify the StampsBoard logo a bit to fit within the requirements of the Flash link graphics I am using, if this violates any terms and conditions I trust that the Admins will let me know and I will fix immediately.

I have been working on a free US Plate Number tool that can be found at the link above. Although the objective is to list all the known US plate numbers, it actually is a handy tool as a general resource for all definitive and commemorative US issues. It is completely free, no ads, no need to submit email addresses, etc.
regards
Don

Glen:

Will add on Monday, now that I seem to have figured this out, in the 'other links' down below.

I need to work it some.

I also do some blogging...is there a way to point people in that direction?

Looks good Steve - one little but important point - we are www.stampboards.com (one word) not Stamp Board etc. :)

Just a quick update, the (NTSC) North Toronto Stamp Club's website URL is now:

http://www.NorthTorontoStampClub.ca

Please discard the dot TK one as it has expired.

Check this site for our StampBoards link:
https://sites.google.com/site/northtorontostampclub/contact-us

Thanks!

Thanks folks. :)

A few posts recently do not seem to have read what this thread is about - which is websites and blogs that have a stampboards logo ideally, and link in them.

All the code you need to do that is in post #1 of the thread.

Adding your website here that has no link, is NOT what this thread is for. :)

So they have been removed.

Lets keep the word spreading .. adding our link to your site adds to your site's google prominence and traffic, when you post that link here, so WIN-WIN all round. :)

zsiddiki - I see a plea for folks to mail you free stamps in "large quantities".

I do NOT see a link on your site to stampboards and that is what this thread is all about.
