I do have a few very old Straits Settlements 1 Cent Coins, but most of them are blurred on surface.

I am still able to keep 2 with clear surface.

These coins were inherited from my grandfather.

In case you are curious, 1884 and 1908 are among the most common dates of the period, with Krause Catalog valuations in the range of $1 or so (in this worn condition), but of much more value to you as a family keepsake. They are cataloged under Malaya.

Hmmm, I don't have any ideas about the history of these coins. Anywhere, I'm really thank for doug2222usa about the information.

Wish either of my grandfather's had passed down either coins or stamps to me.

Not a sausage from either line.

:D Glen works very hard by himself to have everything that his has wished for...and finally he has everything that we can't afford or too hard to have it...Glen is great, you are really my admirer!

If you can own anything so easy without hardworking, then you may not appreciate it. If you work hard to own the thing that you have wished for, then you will damn appreciate it!

However I am really appreciate whatever that has been inherited to me and I will do that to my descents too. The most important is educate and guide them to appreciate whatever heritages that we have now...
