I thought it would be nice to have some documentation of the demographic distribution of the members of this forum.

We in the 65+ have a lot more energy than the individual depicted in your image. I feel more like the 45-54 individual :D :D

Oh, cr*p!!! Why, oh why couldn't you have made it 40-50 instead of pushing me up into the higher bracket

And I've got more hair than the gentleman with the briefcase...

And as for chart - after my morning walk and three days of 100 degree heat I feel like the little old lady. No Mr B I am not going there.

A few months ago, a Young Person got up and offered me his seat on the tram. I was aghast to discover I no longer felt outraged.

Still only 57 out of over 3,000 have responded. to be statistically reliable how many do we need ?

What age group am I ?

during last week's snow I was pleased that I am old enough not to have to go to work,
but young enough to walk to and from the shops to get some more food in. :D

Once we get 100+ responses, we'll be able to draw the chart properly. At the meantime, we have a normal distribution (stats term), the average (u) being the 45-54 group.

It's funny coz I've been lonely in the 15-24 bracket right from the start of the poll. I'm sure you'll be quite lonely for sometime too, Erik. :)

Yes, 1965 was a good year for Diver Pete to be born. And it was a good year for me to graduate from high school! I was born in 1947.

Trying to teach my 2 year old daughter that daddys "picture book" is not to be coloured with her oily fingers and such so the picture with a couple at 35+ seems abit out of the way ;)

Update at 100th vote:

Image

1. 84% of the group members aged 35 or more.
2. The average age group is 45-54.
3. 3/4 or 75% of the members fall within the 35-64 age groups.

Hope we can draw a new chart when we reach 200 response rate. :D :D :D

If I were a head of lettuce, I would be quite old. If I were a mountain, I would be very young. As a man I am the right age.
