3 volumes, a total of 882 pages, A-Z listings. Well-illustrated throughout in B&W, also includes maps.
Not a 'normal' encyclopedia, this is geared specifically for stamp collectors, so it will tell you what all the lingo is that "we" use, gives short intros to 'dead' countries and places most people have never heard of.
All-in-all serves as a great tool when you want a fast answer to a query about an item, and wikipedia doesn't have what you want, and/or Google is giving you 100,000 results.
