PRIMARY FLAW

TYPE B

Shading Left Of Crown: Right end missing of the 3rd ,4th and 5th lines (counting down): Coloured line running down and to the right from the 3rd line to join the outline of the crown: and the 4th pearl at the left is joined to flaw by a break throught the outline of the crown.

Left Frame: Small notch 4.5mm from the lower frame.

Outer Coloured Oval: Notch into oval from outer white oval over IA of AUSTRALIA.

Right Wattle Spray: Lack of shading in the middle of the 4th bloom with a nearly vertical line of colour running down through the outline of the bloom at 6 o'clock.

Postage: Small notch from outer white oval below G of POSTAGE 7.0mm from right frame(less conspicuous on the lower plate).

Shading Between Emu's Legs: Break in the 6th line (counting down).

Head: Break in the 9th line (counting from the right).

Coloured Oval: Variable flaw in front of emu's neck.

Centre Value Tablet: Small spot over last E of PENCE (sometimes overinked)

I am assuming the attached is either 3 or 4 R25 - Retouched behind Emu head; please insert into wiki whichever is the correct one.....
Are there secondary flaws to differentiate between the two?

(i) TYPE B

(ii) Head: Upper part of ear whiter than normal

(iii) Shading Above Head: The 3rd line(counting down)is broken 10.75mm from left frame

(iv) Shading at left of Right wattle Spray: Varying lengths of left ends of 24th to 30th lines(counting down) missing; the left ends of the 36th and 37th lines are also missing.

(v) Crown: The two pearls below the cross are covered by a flaw which joins the left vertical arc line near its lower end.

(vi) Shading Above Emu: Space between the 1st and 2nd shortened lines(counting down) extended as a notch into the outline of the back. The 1st line may be broken and the left end of the 2nd line may be missing.

(vii) Kangaroo: Diagonal flaw across feet, 4.5mm from left frame.

(viii) Right Value Shield: Spot in lower part of figure 3, 4.5mm from right frame, 3.25mm from lower frame.

(ix) Right Value Shield: Small projection from top of figure 3, 4.5mm from right frame, 5.25mm from right frame, 5.25mm from lower frame.

(a) Left Frame: Lower part thicker than normal and irregular from the Kangaroo's tail downwards.
(b) Lower Frame: Bulges for 1.5mm from left corner.
(c) Lower Frame: Irregular bulge for 3.5mm, beginning 3.5mm from right corner.
(d) Left Frame: Small nick on inside of frame, 7.0mm from upper frame.
(e) Outside Right Frame: Two Compartment marks- a curved mark at the upper right corner and a spot 0.5mm below and close to the frame

(a) Value Tablet: Thin line running diagonally down and to left from right foot of N of PENCE into lower white border 9.5mm from right frame.
