It would appear that I have on the 2nd try managed to send an image from photo bucket to this thread? I have'nt a clue how it was done though ! I loaded this because I want to ask about the cover. I'll keep practising, please excuse any cockups.

That's a good scan, but if you set your scanner crop closer, and then crop a little tighter and resize it in your photo editing program, the stamp will fill in the entire shot. You can even probably find a "straighten" option in your program before the final crop to get it perfect. Once you've done a couple dozen scans for the boards it will be old hat for you.

Don't forget we like images 800 size here - DOUBLE that one!

The 800 x 600 is the size we want ALL members to set as default: IGNORE their "recommended" size -

Do NOT use their largest 1024 x 768 "Recommended" size, as that is TOO large for our page, and our software now "chokes" them, and refuses to load them up. Tick the 800 x 600 option shown below. (Most important) The other sizes including Message board are too small.

In the upload screen there are options for uploading from your computer or from the Internet:

When the image is loaded you have a number of options - make sure you use the IMG code option

The image is now in a format ready to load onto Stampboards. All you need to do is
cut and paste the IMG code link and paste it into your Stampboards post box:

In Photobucket hover your mouse over the image and when the drop-down list appears click on the last code. Then open Post a reply (here on Stampboards) press Control V. The result should be the Photobucket image code already enclosed in image brackets.

I'm a little confused... As my photo is definitely under the maximum width AND height.
(About 550 x 550) & yes it's STILL saying I can't post it...
