If it's odd shapes you want, Tonga produced hundreds between 1963 and 1980.



All of these are on backing paper and all are self adhesive.

Now i got to go for a bigger HUNT i think...

I have this cover with Sierra Leone Airmail stamps in my collection, with several copies of the same odd shaped stamp. I'll include the reverse side, as well, to show the cancellation more clearly. Notice that it has an air mail sticker, as well.

Need to edit, but it's too late. Those are obviously not copies of the same stamp, but the same stamp design in different denominations.

I was actually somewhat irritated with myself. First, I had called them the "same" stamp. While the same design, I had only looked at these in a cursory fashion, so had not noticed the different denominations. Upon looking further later, I see that most of them on that envelope have a price overprint. Really strange mess, actually.

I pulled out Scott's guide (glad I still have the library's copies!) and notice that Sierra Leone did several odd shaped stamps in the 60s. For those collecting this type of stamp there are about 20 odd shaped stamps from this nation on just a two year spread in Scott's! It's actually pretty neat to look at. I may have to do a special funky-shaped Sierra Leone collection someday now.

Triangle-shaped stamps is a thematic topic all its own. There's been a lot of them over the years (going all the way back to the 1850s/60s Newfoundland and Cape of Good Hope).

Canada loves doing unusual/cut-to-shape stamps. From a stockbook page of misc. commems from my mail I have these



And if your pockets are deep, you can go for the early issues of New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland

To explain some of the pieces in my above post:

The two in the two row came in a booklet; the medallion (centre circle) area was blank. The booklet came with various stickers that could be stuck on the medallion -- for birthdays, celebrations etc. The booklet was reissued a few times for different rates and occasions. For instance instead of a separate stamp design for the Chiropractic Ass'n, Canada Post just reprinted the booklet with a set of stickers inside it. Along with Canada's first attempt at self-adhesive defins (much-maligned because they were sold above face value), these can be hard to find used.

The two round ones are to commemorate golf, so they're in the shape of golf balls, and even textured to resemble balls dimples.

The two kite stamps are from a larger set that included 'normal-shaped' stamps as well.

I'm surprised no Aussies have posted any from Norfolk Island, so this Pom will have to do it (does Welsh count as a Pom?).

Anyway, Norfolk Island issued self-adhesive stamps in the shape of the island itself. These are from 1974.
