Hi everyone, I'm definitely a newbie here and I have read the rules for attaching an avatar to my profile but have been unsuccessful.

I have chosen a photo of a stamp from my computer, but when trying to reduce the pixels to the dimensions required by the system the images get awfully distorted.

How can I reduce the images without damaging the appearance?

You at least know where to go to do it because the avatar I gave you yesterday has been removed.

Are you copying from Direct link in Photobucket?

Yes, but for a reason the system does not allow me. I just wanted to add my own.

Please describe the process you are using. Perhaps then we can isolate the problem.

I am following the steps suggested by Glen downloading the image in photobucket selecting the required size, then copy the url to the area assigned for that on my profile (AVATAR), but the system does not allow that url after I submit it.
Dowload picture from my computer to photobucket selecting 160x120 pixels then copying URL to the specific area and then submit.

Well if you are watching "True Blood" on HBO every Sunday you will see that in fact there are male and female Fairies...............and as long as a HE/SHE Fairy makes my deams come true everything is fantastic!!!
