The 2½d Blue Wmk Crown over CA was included in the presentation set but was replaced by the 2½d Wmk W crown A earlier.





The 2½d Wmk W crown A was issued late January 1901 and used until the Kangaroo on map issues of 1913.




This stamp also had the 4 concentric ring C.T.O cancel used for U.P.U. distribution in 1904.

The 3d Red-brown Wmk Crown over CA was in use until its replacement in January 1906 of the 3d on Wmk Crown over Double lined A wmk paper. These were printed from the same De La Rue Plates.

The 4d Brown Wmk Crown over CA was in use along with the 4d Wmk Vcrown stamp until atleast late 1904.

This is a rare variety with very few known. ACSC list 5 known all used, there have been 2 mint/unused examples found since then the one pictured above from a Robin Linke Auction. The other also from a Robin Linke Auction was damaged.
