Nice Canadian stamps, Jacob. They're actually quite attractive; might entice me to start collecting beyond KGVI for Canada!

Hi Jacob,

Thanks for sending some stamps! I'll let you know when they arrive. Might take a while since there will be a backlog of mail once the strike is over. Sounds like they'll be back to work next week.

Once the strike is over I'll send you the NZ fiscals, plus some other island stamps I have.

And let's hope the China market takes off :) . I got some Hong Kong stamps as well that can only go up!

Hi Jacob,

Glad you had a good holiday. Happy to say that your stamps arrived safe and sound. Love the cover! The blocks are cool too and will make a nice addition to my New Zealand collection. Also like the Australian stamps you sent me. I'm sure I'll find a use for them :). Thank you so much!

And try to learn all you can in school. Education is endless possibilities.

Hello Jacob here,

Miss Maureen I received some stamps in the the mail today from you.
BIG THANKS :!: :!:
I will send you some more australian ones soon.

We are packing up and moving house at the moment and boy oh boy what a job it is. Very very tiring.
We are moving to a big 4 bedroom house and at the moment we have boxes everywhere , sure is a mess.

The moving truck comes on friday and dad has taken some time off work to get things settled in.

Mums getting cranky and stressed out so i am making sure to do things right.
Dad hardly ever gets cranky.

Life has been really full on of late with the holiday and then moving straight after it.

Bye.
Jacob. :D
Ineat2 I will send some stamps after we have settled in to the new home.

Jacob,

I hear that when Mums get cranky and stressed, it helps if you go give them a big hug and tell them that you love them! (It also makes it a lot more difficult for them to yell at you!)

Hope you get settled in quickly and that you got the best room!

Hi Jacob,

Hope the move goes well and you're all not too stressed out. You'll have to send me your new address when you're settled so I can keep sending Island Nation stamps to a good home.

Glad Canada Post sent them faster than last time!

Guess who is back.Image

Well the move is over and the unpacking is done.
Thank goodness for that.

Drew thanks for the last lot of stamps but I must confess they are a little bit lost at the moment.
i put them in one of my safe places and cannot find them but they will turn up soon. :D

Dad and myself have our own stamp room and mum is so happy she has even stopped complaining about our stamps.  it is just so cool. :D :)

The down side of our move is that our internet connection here is not very good.
At our old place we had naked dsl and here at the new place we only have a wirless usb dongle thing which is so,so slow :(
But dad sure will get sick of it and for sure will update to somthing faster.

Here are some fiji stamps I came across .

Bye .

I have wireless usb where I am and it's quite fast on broadband, but I have to use an antenna or I get no signal at all.

Maybe that will work for you. Might be worth a check.

Hi Jacob, glad that you are back and the move went well.
Lost is such an unfortunate word. I prefer misplaced as I do that all the time.

You are welcome. I am glad that you liked them and hope that you got a few that you needed. Hopefully I will have another batch in a while. I've been sorting through a big batch of Kiloware so I haven't had much time for anything else.

Hey Jacob if you need a Canada $5 Moose for your Canada project send me your new address. I just got eight of them to soak, plus there is a new Miss Supertest III (famous Canadian speedboat) mini sheet coming out this Monday which would be cool on a cover.

Hi :!: Jacob here.Image

Thanks Mr hans for the advice and I shall show dad what you wrote.
I am sure he will get tired of it cutting out all the time and being slow and I know he has been making phone calls about it.

Hey Drew of course they are only misplaced and i tend to have these safe places and they are that safe even i cannot find them.

Mr Uncadonego we have kept the same P/O box so nothing has changed.
My Canada collection is looking good.
A big THANKS for the help you gave me . :D

And thanks for the nice offer of the $5.00 Moose and the new supertest III would be nice.

Now to show some stamps .

I have found China to be one of the hardest countries to follow in Stanley Gibbons.

I think you have a good one there.

It looks like CHINESE REPUBLIC, 1913, number 282, catalogue value ÂŁ36 mint.

CHINESE REPUBLIC is just after CHINESE EMPIRE near the front of China.

Hey Jacob, if I soak that $5 Moose, it will be a week in the Desert Magic Book. You're cool if I just trim it close and mail it to you, right? You likely soak and dry lots of stuff by now, right? Oh, and do you have the 1¢ to 25 beneficial insects? Because I bought four sets and hand cancelled them last week. You want a row of those to soak too, or do you already have them? See my latest bugs thread scans to check it out.

Hi Jacob, writing to write that I got your letter and was glad to hear of all your good news, including you and your dad now having your own stamp room. My dream!

Thanks also for the stamps you sent. I will have to start a modern Australia collection once I am done organizing my KGVI coronation purchase!

You are welcome. :D

I thought that book would go well with your island collection.

You're welcome Jacob.

It's too bad it went through the machine canceller after I hand cancelled. Glad it made it through without a scratch though.

Hi Jacob,
my 2011 volume 3 G - I SCOTT catalogue shows the single stamps. I believe they are 2009, July 27 being 2334a to 2334k. The whole SS is 2334i Perf 13 value at $5.00. Hope that helps.

Jacob here. Thank God it is Image night .
Week end at last.

I am starting to get a real world collection of stamps now.Image

Looking thru Dads desk drawers and came across this full sheet of Australian Antarctic Territories.
Thought I would just scan them and put them back in his drawer.
The sheet was so long I could'nt fit it all thru the scanner.

He may even give me a set. :D

Have a good night.

Jacob.
