I decided that nobody would want to buy these 5 volumes of 2008 Stamps of the World, and pay the horrendous postage, but some people might want individual countries. I want the space (or rather my wife does, as they are in her office not mine!)

I'm happy to send individual countries or groups thereof anywhere: all I ask is that you send me back something for my costs. I know that Stampboard members are a reasonable bunch so I will await your sendings eagerly!

Whilst I am offering complete countries you may not get the first or last page if somebody has already had that page on the back of the preceeding or following country.

This is a simplified listing, with mostly colour illustrations. Usually only one stamp in a set is illustrated. I can scan sample pages for illustrations purposes if my scanner will take the weight.

First come, first served. I'll periodically update the thread with what has gone, or what is left as appropriate.

Norvic,

I'd be interested in a few country pages.
What do you think is the postage to Greece?

Does it include Commonwealth?

Thanks

Yes, it includes Commonwealth & GB - whole world including miniature sheets, but no watermark/perforation varieties. It really is very simplified.

Postage to Europe examples
100g - £1.49
200g - £2.19
300g - £2.61

When I know how many pages, I can give you a better idea.

The Indian States will be listed through the books in alphabetical order, unlike the Commonweatlh catalogue where they are listed after India. It might be an idea for you to email me the full list so that I know where they all are! (ian [at] norphil.co.uk)

Croatia is 8 leaves, Bosnia, including B&H is 9 leaves, and Yugoslavia a further 18 leaves.
Yes - Bosnia & Herzegovina already have half as many pages as Yugoslavia, and the last two have abbreviated entries with no pics because SG didn't then have the stamps! The weight is about 220g, so about £2.50 to send. Without Yugoslavia it will be about £1.60.

India alone is about 22 pages, which will be £2.90 to post by airmail £1.70 surface
Indian States I will know when I know how many pages.

Diverted by incoming mail from customers - have to shift some stamps - but will get back to these Stamps of the World.

Meanwhile, very many countries still available. Don't make me send them for recycling!

I am interested in the Trucial States. Would they be listed alphabetically (like the Indian states) or are they under Trucial States.

Cheers,

Thanks for the 3 latest responses. I'll deal with all these today.
Trucial States - no idea how they are arranged.

Edit: Trucial States is just one set, the 1961 issue. Please let me know all the countries you are interested in - I could check but I might miss some!

Yes, all still available. A little more scanning to do for the business, and then I'll get to it.

I'll need postal addresses folks, by email - use the email button below this message.

Ok, first set on their way tomorrow. Private emails sent to some, when I have extracted the pages and know the size of it.
Others I may not get to until after the weekend.

India (without the states) is 125g and will cost £1.50 surface mail, £2.60 airmail.
I haven't started on the many states yet, but you may be able to work out the cost from that.

Do you still want me to work through the states, or will India itself be sufficient?

Andrew,
this is how Yemen is arranged - unless I've missed anything:

Yemen - from 1926
..... Republic from 1962
..... Royalist issues - from 1962
Yemen People's Democratic Republic (from 1971)*
Yemen Republic combined (from 1990)
South Yemen 1968-70 (and with this you also get Southern Nigeria, Southern Rhodesia and Spain to 1930!

Aden itself isn't included (but could be)

Please let me know which of the above you would like.

I would like all six of the Yemen sections. Please add Aden also.

I may have to start a Spanish collection after this.

Yes all of Germany is available - do you want to start with 19th century and pre-division items, or only post-war Bundesrepublik?

OK, I'll work through the Yemeni and Aden sections and give you the likely postage cost, and I'll count up mainland Spain without colonies for comparison.

cable1234, I know you are new so I will post this here for you.
Some of the forums have different rules so might be an idea to read them to see if you are eligible.

Rule 1 of the forum
1. Any member of stampboards.com who has at least 20 posts and has been registered for at least 20 days may post NEW threads here offering stamps/coins/banknotes for SALE - the "20/20" rule. All Registered members of any post count may RESPOND to offers of goods for sale (but NOT to free offers, until they reach 30/30), BUT they can offer their surplus stamps FREE if they choose.

I've received a number of packages in exchange, ranging from mint GB stamps to some nice covers to Australia and Bosnia & Herzegovina.

I apologise if I have not acknowledged any of these - having caught up with customer orders I've spent some time adding 23 new pages to the website for 2012's main issues, scanning new arrivals to post here and on the blog, and general housekeeping (the old Windows machine backed up for the first time since mid-September!). I'm hoping to feed in some more items for sale so watch this space!

Sorry the member who asked about South America has confirmed, following these nudges, that he would like the whole shebang, and not just Argentina and Brazil which we measured for weight as a starter.

No problem, and thanks for letting me know.

Looking through your earlier post, do you still have the USA available? If so, I would certainly take it.

(P.S. I don't just collect countries that start with"U"!!
That said, there are some nice stamps in that UPU Omnibus Issue of 1949... ..)

Yes, Bill, at 19.39 yesterday. You are in the queue, your call is important to us, and an operative will be with you as soon as we have cleared the queue.
