I have these German stamps to give away, either for free or in exchange for a few stamps. Let me know which you prefer - I'm happy either way. Postage on me.

(Life is busy at the moment what with trying to find a part-time job and enrolling into University but I'll post these as soon as I get around to it. :D )

Hello Catweazel

I am interested in the German stamps please.

Have they gone?

What stamps would you like in return?

Regards Brian (RolftheGanger)

Yes, I know you haven't got 20 posts yet, but you can easily bring that up quickly if you start posting around this forum, especially in the "Outhouse".

Anyway, I still have the stamps. While I collect worldwide, I do prefer pre 1950s or post 1980s. Let me know if you have any along those lines, perhaps 1:1? Or, as there are some duplicates in that lot of mine pictured, perhaps 1:3 (1 of yours for 3 of mine) sort of thing? Best to send me a PM...

Hello Catweazle
Bear with me. New to Bulletin Board format. I need to work out how to work it and sort out sensible posts to get to 20. (How do you get back to what you posted if you post on multiple forums/forae(?))
Then I'll come back about swaps
Regards, RtG

I assume you mean to find an old post or an old thread which you posted on earlier?

If you look underneath the white box where you type your post, just above the Preview/Submit/Save/Cancel buttons, there is a box you can tick so that you will be "notified when a reply is posted." If you make sure that is ticked, then you'll receive an email whenever someone replies to the thread in which you've posted.

Image

If you want to see which posts you have posted, click on "View your posts". Or else search for a particular thread - try the Advanced search button near the top of the page or the Google search bar at the very top of the page.

Also, this page has many good tips, including how to post images etc: http://www.stampboards.com/faq.php

Hope this helps. You'll soon get the hang of it; we were all newbies once!

Hey Catweazle,

I guess a decent interval of time has passed :| If Rolf still wants these, happy to let them go, BUT.... my 8-yr-old daughter has caught the stamp bug, so as a doting dad, thought I'll help her out.

I could trade an equivalent number of modern British stamps if you like?

Let me know if your offer is still available.

Kind Regards,
Vinod

Yup sure - it's still available. I must say, I completely forgot about this lot! But I still remember where the stamps are, so that's fine. :P

Britain will be great. Do you mean modern or old? If modern, I love the nice colourful issues, otherwise I'm not fussy which stamps because, after all, I collect world wide - which means almost anything and everything!

BTW - I think the mods prefer us to discuss things from now on by email. So if you could send me your postal address by PM, and then I'll send you mine and we can discuss anything else if need be then too.

Hi William,

Apologies, I've been distracted by other stuff. And apologies for addressing you as Ben, I had you confused with a fellow Stampboards member.

I will email you in the next 30 mins. And set aside some British stamps for you.

Kind Rgds,
Vinod
