I've got my new orders in... I'm on the Lord Nelson tall ship for 2 months around the Canary Islands.
Not bad eh?

The good side is I'm getting more sea time, I'm not sitting at home and I could get some really nice stamps.
The down side is that 2 months of learning ropes, sails and rigging is not going to mean anything to me.

Plus I have stuff I need to do for my training book and I'm not going to get much of that done

But still, life is a bitch.

I know its nothing like what you will be doing,But when I came out to OZ in 1959 it took 5 weeks,
But what a 5 weeks, I just wish I could do it all again,
