I have been interested in cartography since boyhood. I expect that many other stamp collectors share my passion.

So, let's post images of our stamps depicting maps of various parts of the world here. But please, NO GLOBES! :roll:

I'll post images of several of my maps on stamps to get the topic started.

Good, detailed maps of the territories of the former Indian States (like Jammu & Kashmir and Junagadh on that Pakistani stamp :D ) aren't easy to locate, and this one of Jaipur State

The first known map of the entire Baltic Sea is the nautical chart which Swedish hydrographer Johann MÃ¥nsson made around 1644. Here is an image of a stamp depicting MÃ¥nsson's chart, designed by Swedish artist Harald Sallberg (1895-1963), engraved by Sven Ewert, and issued by Sweden on April 15, 1944 to commemorated the 300th anniversary of the chart, Scott No. 348, Facit No. 351.
