Stampboards promotional displays

At the 2009/2010 Melbourne and Canberra stamp shows, we have had a number of posters on display which have been great in attracting people to our table to have a look and a chat.

Kevin Hedley has put these together and we thought it would be good to share them with a wider audience via the Board.

Members involved in organising philatelic exhibitions and meetings might like to use some of these posters to promote Stampboards.

Please send a message to admin if authority to use is required.

There are about 20 posters used in the past and they all will be posted here
in the coming weeks.

These sheets really are eye catchers for anyone with folks at shows .. so anyone with a club stand are well advised to print them off.

Nicely done promotional materials. By the way, I was always fond of the "Bluenose" even though I do not collect Canada.

At Melbourne and Canberra we had a selection of these printed out on good quality photographic paper and lying about the Stampboards stand...they proved to be a great drawcard and a bit of a talking point when approaching new prospective members

Bearing in mind that the venue is the Hellenic Club we should make sure that Greece is included next time around.

Good idea to include Greece. Perhaps a Greek stamp in one (or more) of the posters may be appropriate to reflect the Hellenic Club venue :idea:

The news is we now get a lot more space than it first seemed. RIGHT next to the Queen's Collection exhibit! And we have an entire back wall near us, it seems.

If we can source a member who can print and laminate large A3 size versions as well, we are quids in. :mrgreen:

Kevin, the posters look great. I have to admit to a soft spot for the 'Transport' page...I spent a number of hours on that particular route during the 1970s.

The Cranbourne Gardens are one of my favourite public gardens in Australia; but the Fitzroy Gardens will always hold a special place

Clarification:
The amount of space for stampboards on the back wall is limited to 2m wide x 6m high.
