French Chocolate Stamp, sadly it's not made of chocolate, still paper. But I was given this today. I don't like it, but I thought it was pretty unusual. There must be lots more stamps with chocolate on. What I thought was different about this stamp is the intention to make it look like a chocolate bar.

That is quite unusual. Didn't they say it's supposed to smell like chocolate too?

This thread reminded me that years ago we had a thread on "Chocolate on Stamps"...I managed to find it- quite an interesting read

That thread is a very interesting read. I wish I'd noticed the French chocolate stamps whilst I was living in France. I would have bought a set. Can't find them anywhere now. And they smell of chocolate.

There was a set of stamps put out by the French in the early sixties commemorating the introduction of tobacco. I wonder if they smelt of old stale ashtrays! :)

I have a spare sheet MUH of the French chocolate stamps if anyone's interested.
