Glen, is there anything you can do to get the posting times to be local, ie AEST? It's currently 11 hrs behind, but the "most online" message reflects a local time, so the system must have access to both times.

Go into your profile and set your time to be GMT + 11 hours.

If a post is removed by any member (and all members can delete any post, you included) that specific link ceases to be valid. So someone posted, made an error, and deleted it ... but you got an email saying a post HAD been made.

You cl icked on that link you were emailed to post 5546, which no longer exists there so you cannot see it anyone. Neither can anyone. No big deal.

Same occurs when spammer adds a post to a thread. Mods can and do delete them, but the email alert would have gone out there WAS a post made.

Yes I almost fell out of my chair when I read that this morning it's pretty amazing really, most of the Bulletin Boards I've visited (this is the first I've ever joined - as the selection committee were asleep :lol:

) have either been struggling with numbers after even 5 or 6 years or have fallen on their faces after a very short period of time...

This One has already proven itself as a HUGE exception I think for the fact that it offers diversity, is not afraid to tackle what seem almost taboo subjects like the validity of ebay - and of course is based on the greatest Hobby/Obsession in the World...

With the foundations firmly in place this site can only expect to enjoy exponential growth at a rate that none of us (probably Glen included) could have foreseen a few weeks ago...

I have to confess that I was a little worried at the conclusion of the last competition - that perhaps postings would diminish somewhat, however it is with some delight that I admit I was wrong (second time in 50 years)

This Board has brought more than a few smiles to a great number of people in it's short history - and has also rained grief on a few Non-Members such as the now infamous Joanne620 ...

The membership of the Board in it's entirety should be made aware of what an awe inspiring feat the expulsion of TEN eBay THIEVES really is & I expect this number to jump to at least 11 or 12 within the next week...

We're making history folks whether you're aware of it or not !
