A reminder to all as to the ESSENTIAL form to nominiate i.e. -
GlenStephens wrote:
You MUST add a specific link to the post or the thread concerned, with a reason why you think it deserves to win. Don't say: "Jim's post in mid month on the 1d black was pretty good."

So - what we need is, in all cases is:

A thread link url, (and that to be coded "URL" in reply box so it can be cut and pasted by Mods) and exact title of that thread, (singular) and the member (singular) nominated within that thread, if not the thread starter.

So your nomination needs to look in THIS exact format below. Not dreamy vague "That interesting thread by Bob on Germany" etc.

Greaden
Ghost Countries Identifiable through Postmarks
http://www.stampboards.com/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=71175

All to be posted in THAT format, on THIS thread. You can nominate more than 1 thread each month, and nominate more than 1 member if you so choose. If you can't be bothered to use this simple format, we can't be bothered to accept your nomination. :!: :!:

I would like to nominate Elkra's Rugby competition thread for the month of February.

This is the most recent thread, but Elkra has been running the competition for many months now. :)

Rugby Union Competition: 2020 French Pro-14 Qualifier 11.

It's obvious that he is a great supporter of the sport. A sport that may not be followed in many places around the world, but I am sure that because of these competitions rugby has gained a number of followers. :)

Thank you, but please don't. I've won it for that already and I hadn't realised that the prize had changed. It really isn't as transferable or realisable as I thought, so I could make as much of a contribution to Nick Wallis's fighting fund.

March 2020 nomination

I would like to nominate Eli, who has made many beautiful
and informative posts in the thread
Please share your ''Folklore on Stamps'' topicals/theme
and has brighted Stampboards for many of us as a result.

In particular, his posting illustrating the balafon and balafon
players
, showing us stamps and photographs, is informative,
has depth of coverage, and helps us become more aware of
cultures and traditions we typically scarcely know about:

My March nomination is for someone who has been clearly active on multiple threads recently... for work specifically illustrated in the "Engraved Stamp Beauties" themed topic.

This "show us yours" thread has seen substantial additions, over the last couple of months, with fine close ups "of exquisite detail", good descriptions, and a smattering of humour (which is always well received, especially in the trying times we are all experiencing).

"Passion shines through" ...... Good work, Eli.

Thanks for the reminder, Mark

I'd like to nominate Rein for the Irish SOAR thread
Discuss the 2008+ Irish "Stamps On A Roll" SOAR's issues

http://www.stampboards.com/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=89992

Who said modern issues couldn't be interesting (though Id prefer ham and cheese on my roll 8) )
