Not sure if anyone can help with that blurry picture of the back of the stamp. Good job inserting images but a clearer scan would help us help you.

Mod hat off.

Hi Allison

Collectors here are happy to answer questions with good clear pictures. You are going to have to be very lucky indeed to find a rare watermark variant. (But it has happened before).

If there is a dealer near you, or next time there is a stamp and coin show nearby, it would be worthwhile showing the album to a dealer for a free appraisal. They can quickly leaf through and tell you what the collection is worth in a ballpark way. As a very general rule, a collection has to have money spent on it to be worth money.

It is hard to tell from the pictures, but the 2d Red KGV watermark inverted is quite a common variety (unfortunately, sorry) worth a couple of dollars: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Australia-KGV-2d-red-CofA-invert ... 4334889202

This is the watermark line from the sheet edges which is sometimes visible. This is quite common and normal.

All the best

This is a stamp from a Booklet pane and 50% of these stamps in Booklets had inverted watermarks due to the way they were printed. It is very common.
