Post by upolo »

I have seen these locals before, but this one has a manuscript surcharge reading 10 cents. Does anyone have any information or an opinion?

It is a bad fake and I'll give you $25 for it, just so you are not upset about the deception. :)

I have seen another cover like this Christmas Island manuscript, too. There is a post regarding these overprints on the PISC forum at: http://www.pisc.org.uk/forum/topic/98.html

I am interested in purchasing one of these manuscript Christmas Island covers if anyone has one for sale.

Also, upolo, back in 2010 you bought a Gilbert and Ellice Islands KGV 1d on FAKAAFU IS cover to Samoa for $A60. If you are interested in selling that cover, I would like to add it to my collection. Thank you.
