What value do New Caledonia modernish Imperf Proofs have?

Bought a bundle of these in an Estate today.

About 100 of them, from 1960s to 1980s.

I felt sure they were in some catalogue, but have Yvert French Colonies cat, and not in there, (unless I missed the section?) and not in Michel Oceania, and not in Scott or SG of course.

Very pretty looking animals. Lovely recess/intaglio steel engraved die proofs basically.

Anyone got any idea where these are listed, and typical value?

Thanks in advance!

Not sure if the following reference to France & Colonies is of use :

Thanks Noel - that explains them well.

Seems like only a couple 100 of each were ever done?

This dealer refers to Maury Cat values of about 25 Euro each it seems -

https://www.cherrystonestamps.com/search.asp?textsearch=&reg ... &pagenum=1

And on ebay they are around $A15-$20 each - the 110F Aircraft above, I saw was about $A30 when post and GST is added by ebay -

https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-CALEDONIA-1972-YV-PA-131-EPR ... 2276914253

https://www.ebay.com.au/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=m570.l1 ... ve+de+Luxe+

I have a huge hard cover Maury for FRANCE, but not for Colonies sadly! For FRANCE issues the average price is about 100 Euro a proof.

I'll probably move them on as a group of 100 proofs, for just a few $$s each as a lot, but a very interesting lot.

Thanks - will not be much price change on this kind of thing! Maybe a tad higher, but this is not a volatile region!

So this is Yvert or Maury cat you quote, Ceres?

Thanks Ceres .. I have the huge Maury France but not Colonies, so very handy info.

So do they note numbers done in there? Only a few 100 each sounds amazingly low to me? I've priced them at just $A4 each - you can't but a coffee here for that.

Thanks for all the info folks. :D :D :D

Found these buried on my desk, years later, and decided to sell as one lot of 100 proofs for $US275. (Stock 698RXL)

Terrific for anyone who collector these, or does some ebaying!
