The first Round of a new Qualifying Series and the French Pro-14 gets things up and running with 6 Games for the Round which will hopefully be played on 05/12/2020 and 06/12/2020.

The Rules:

Points System:

Points will be allocated in each Round based on finishing positions for the Round.

Fixtures for Round 1 which are scheduled to take on 05/12/2020 and 06/12/2020. Game time (GMT) in brackets.

05/12/2020 : 2020-21 French Top-14 Round 11. - Lyon v La Rochelle (17:15)
05/12/2020 : 2020-21 French Top-14 Round 11. - Aviron Bayonnais v Stade Toulousain (17:15)
06/12/2020 : 2020-21 French Top-14 Round 11. - Section Paloise v Castres Olympique (17:00)
06/12/2020 : 2020-21 French Top-14 Round 11. - SU Agen v CA Brive (17:00)
06/12/2020 : 2020-21 French Top-14 Round 11. - Stade Francais Paris v RC Toulonnais (20:05)

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Be careful with predictions.
If you post a prediction that has previously been posted, you are effectively putting yourself out of the competition.
I will try to post a warning if I see this happening but not guaranteed.

For anyone looking in who has not entered the competition before there is no knowledge of Rugby Union required; it is basically a guess.

The Rules are always posted on the first post of the thread.

As for how to predict ? Well there are no rules really.

If you look at the Rules you will see I allow 35 points in the event of a game not being played. That is what I think should be the minimum number of points scored in a First Class Rugby Union encounter.

So;
1) Take 35 and multiply by the number of games.
2) Add/Subtract your age or house number.
3) Add/Subtract the number of cats/dogs you have.
4) Add/Subtract the ages of your Children.
4) Add/Subtract the day of the month.

There's a possible prediction ?

There is no magic formula. It's all a bit of fun.

Thanks Victor, well spotted.

I was looking at a very old version of the database I use for running the Competitions and inadvertently used it for this Round.

The new version, in use for over a year, does not permit duplicate predictions and produces an error warning. That's how I missed it.
