When I started this board off we had a huge celebration when the FIRST member to get to 100 hit that milestone!

Looks like we now have 2600 (or 2700?) members who have made 100 posts or so

I like to congratulate members for hitting odd milestones - if someone gets to 50, then they might get to 100, then 250 and so on and not drop off.

As for new milestones, it can be a long time between drinks even for avid posters. Personally I would like to see a new milestone "jewel" for each (say) 250 posts to keep encouraging people. Just an idea

Or the other way to look at it is, that folks on say 3500 are inspired to reach 5000 on the present tried and true system!.

We have a HELLUVA lot of bauble levels - indeed I think I maxed out the number that the software will support!

Of course, this is a snapshot in time. Only one more post by a member currently
on 99 posts would increase the total number with at least 100 posts. Just a few
posts by any of several members just below 1000 posts would increase the total
number with at least 1000 posts... At the high end of the spectrum, it takes a huge
number of posts for any of the top 24 ranked members (with totals over 20K) to
advance a single position in the rankings. And in the time I have been compiling
this report, I'm sure several of the top-ranking posters will have advanced their
totals significantly!
