Only P.V. Narsimha Rao stamp is confirmed for relase tomorrow. Rest is still unconfirmed. Hopefully we will get the Covid stamps early next year.

According to chitter chatter on few groups,
Substantial amount of sheets were sold (dealer-babu nexus)

Miniature sheets are available for sale on Delcampe for about INR 252 for one sheet.

I have seen few covers of Postally Used Miniature Sheets also.

According to few people (not officially confirmed) all stock is sealed and returned to treasury and audit is being done at many Philatelic bureau

Why this happens?
Sometimes negligence
Sometimes intentional misdoings
Mismanagement by India Post
No pre-planned programme of release

Similar thing happened in 2018.

Rajkumar Shukla Stamp was officially issued on 18th Dec 2018.
But it was available in the market since April 2018.

Postally used covers between April-December are also available.

There are two Shukla issues.

: Rajkumar Shukla Stamp issued in 2000

There is unofficial news that COVID stamps may be issued tomorrow, 24th Dec 2020.

India Post has history of abruptly releasing pending stamps.

There is unofficial news that COVID stamps may be issued tomorrow, 24th Dec 2020.

India Post has history of abruptly releasing pending stamps.

Hope this happens.... A nice way to end the year...

I don’t think you even need to have a company, you can just issue one on yourself looks like

... yes so 12L upfront to the postal Dpt to issue these & don’t forget they then sell them to collectors at 500 per sheet.
