Anyone out there with sheep on Stamps?
I have started a thematic collection of them even though we have 5000 real ones on our property.
Here is one from PNG.

Dale - possibly because (the OP's chosen thread header notwithstanding), the Chinese Zodiac year in question is more correctly known as the Year of the Goat or the Ram, AFAIK! But I guess one should just enjoy the nice stamps being shown, rather than get too pedantic.wattsup wrote:

Norm, that is one wrinkly ram I wouldn't like to have to shear it at all. Australia went through a phase in the late 1800's where rams like that one were very much in vogue. Droughts and flies soon sorted that out.fromdownunder wrote:Argentina

This Irish Sheep on Cover for St.Patrick's Day.
St.Patrick's was kidnapped by Irish Pirates and taken to Ireland where he was enslaved and forced to shepherd sheep. He eventually escaped and returned to his family in Britain. Later he returned to Ireland as a Christian Missionary.
