I bought an estate and have listed the first of three batches of non Australian stuff, just to clear it all out. All listings are replete with large scans or photos. People throw around "could be anything in here" too much; going on what her Australian collection is like, there's most likely stuff in here I should have picked out.

Better collections are in Hagners (included) which seem to be more specialised to my untrained eyes, while the rest of the World collection are hinged and occasionally in Hagners. All split into lots that can be sent for large letter rate. 8)

Lots in Hagners; Canada, USA, NZ 1, NZ 2, NZ 3, Japan 1, Japan 2, and GB 1, GB 2, GB 3, GB 4, GB 5.

Hinged; AFG-ASC, AUS-BEL, BEL-BOS, BOT-CAI, CAM-CHI, COL-CZE, CZE-DOM, DOM-FIJ, FIJ-FRA, FRA-FUJ, Germany, KAM-LAT, JOH-LES, KED-MAL, MAL-MOZ, NAB-NIC, NIC-PHI, POL-QAT, RAS-RUS, RUS-SEN, SEY-SOU, SOU-SPA, SRI-SYR, TAN-TON, TRA-UAE, UN-VAN, VAN-YEM, YUG-ZIM.

And it all finishes on Christmas night, so set your bids/snipes in advance if you're going to be too merry by that time of night.

Hello again,

Due to a massive revamp of the Delcampe.net website, the link provided to my store has changed. In addition, I have added a large number of items since my last post in this thread. Primarily GB and Commonwealth 1970s and earlier. In addition I have added a number of complete omnibus sets, including a Silver Jubilee set (missing Egypt).

https://www.delcampe.net/en_US/store/kildonanstamps

As again, if you let me know in advance you are a Stampboards member, I would be more than happy to provide a 10% discount to fellow collectors. A word of caution however, the new Delcampe website is experiencing some technical difficulties these days, so patience is a virtue when visiting there.

Take care all.

Along with the worldwide stamps (two posts up) which finish on Christmas night, I've listed 69 Australian paper banknotes. Some are uncirculated, some less so, all with large scans so you can see condition. And a few consecutive runs of 10 to round it out. :)

All finishing New Years Eve, so bid early if you've got plans. Click on the image below to see all the auctions:

Christmas celebrations are over, eBay beckons. Another 150 covers just listed (one million to go), including usual selection of less usual Australia 1940s/1950s FDCs:

Image

1949 rare and rather mysterious FDC, intended for 1/6d Hermes but apparently never used for that issue? I have seen just three examples, all used at Brisbane bearing unrelated stamp issues. This example is to Rochaix, who was associated with FDC issues in late 1940s. However, I suspect the cachet is by Standard Stamp Co or Brisbane Stamp Co, and was delivered too late for servicing for intended stamp issue. Just speculation!

Image

Australia 1950 Stamp Centenary pair scarce Collings FDC No 105 / 250, central vertical crease, better than most of the small number which survive.

Image

Australia 1952 2/6d Aborigine scarce Bodin generic FDC

Always signature AU$9.99 starting price, no reserves, no nonsense. Your dream eBay seller (whilst it lasts!). If you have an interest in Australian philatelic and commercial covers (in particular), you are probably missing out by not visiting my weekly eBay offerings. Search Seller rap_com_au

Have been entrusted to sell but only 17 of the 141+ have been uploaded to date.
Unfortunately, there are 2, 3 or 4 holes in each as they have been rammed onto a correspondence spike (as was the office custom)!
Victoria, Australia duplex postmarks (please advise if I should upload any to that thread)? I don't think there is anything spectacular but I could be wrong).
selling on eBay (very high resolutions there); median price $5-$6 - specialists may find varieties? If they don't sell, asking price will be reduced until they do sell!

.
They are mostly 1880's-1890's and so far these are on offer:
1119 Koondrook
440 Rochester
1131 Korong Vale
49 Heathcote (in green)
50 Elmore
998 Devenish
4 Sandhurst
40 Echuca

3 Castlemaine
1067 Tragowel

Hello,

I`ve just listed a few Australia predecimal covers on ebay. Perhaps there might be something interesting within for some collectors!?

For example:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/122986499001?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1558.l2649

Just have a look at the other aictions.

Greetings

josto

Australian 1913 KGV 1d red corner block of twenty stamps (plate 1), with eight constant varieties. Larger scans, variety info and backscan on the ebay listing.

Cat $700 as singles according to the old ACSC price, perhaps more in the new book?

Yesterday I listed my first eBay auction:

It's a recent Malta excise revenue issue, which is quite uncommon.

I would increase your starting price to more than 99p.
Start it at the lowest price you would accept for it if it sold.

I think for now I'll leave it at 99p. I'm actually interested to see if there is any demand for these issues, so if it sells at any price I'll be happy. :)

Some interesting Cyprus items to come live on Monday afternoon, including some seldom offered KGV period kiloware and a decent fiscally used KGV £1.
In the mean time some Egypt lots finishing tomorrow afternoon and a selection of Aden airletters recently listed, click the link then 'view seller's other items'.

I had to look up "ring in", not a phrase we use here. I assume you mean the Newcastle (England, not NSW) cancel!
