Another ridiculous Fake for the ebay bunnies. Printed by the Greek Forger from NSW on his home computer. All pixilated. Fake barred numeral "60" cancellation. Wrong paper. Gook rubbed on the back to make it look old. Low start price of only $11.99 plus steak knives. Bidding is private to keep the fraud going.

This is the feedback for stamps143, the new account established by The Greek Forger on 4 April 2019.

In the 19 feedbacks, it is v v obvious that he has left much of this FOR HIMSELF.

Things like: "AAAAA+++++++" and "5 star seller to buy from A1 THANKS" is a dead giveaway. The oldest feedack, used to established the account and get it going, is at the bottom.

All feedback is of course private. I wonder why?

Usual Fake barred numeral "60" postmark, lightly applied to trick you. Wrong Ink. Wrong Paper. All pixelated. Dangerous to ebay bunnies. Paper aged to give it an olde look. Grime rubbed on the back. Cancellation upside down to distract you. Margins a bit mis-cut to fool U into thinking it is genuine. Ultra low start price of $9.99 to lure in the bunnies. Private bidding to keep the scam going of course. Wake up to yourselves.

A week in the Sin Bin not enough?

Even with its "millions", the APF, or the AFP (Australian Federal Police) for that matter, have been unable to halt the progress of this menace.

^The Australian Philatelic Federation has frittered away $$ MILLIONS $$ cheerfully since 1984 with nothing to show for it. Luxury holidays to exhibitions which are held in tropical destinations - entirely by coincidence I am sure.

Thousands paid in FIP TAX to the FIP annually so they can maintain their luxury overseas headquarters. All paid for by Australian collectors.

Don't know why you are invoking the name of the Australia Federal Police, as if they have even investigated The Greek Forger.

Quite typical for the APF (and ASDA) to turn a blind eye to rampant online fraud, amongst other activities.

The 3d with "OS" perfin  does not exist , except within the Greek Forger's vivid imagination!

These are a favourite of the Greek Forger. The mint stamps are easily obtainable. Then he can churn them out using his homemade punch. The perfin bunnies on ebay love them.

As everyone using Ebay should know, these are cranked out on The Greek Forger's home inkjet computer yesterday - not in 1853 but 2019!

This stamp is as real as a three dollar bill. Worthless.

You can see his modus operandi at work - printed on a home computer. Fake numeral cancellation, which he has impressed lightly as some people are aware of this fraud. Fake modern paper, so bad that the modern black ink of the cancellation bleeds through to the back. The paper is even indented on the back to give it a slightly wrinkled appearance = fake age. Nice touch Greek! Grime rubbed on the back to give it some age. Four large margins as that gets him good prices. Quite a dangerous forgery for newbies.

The rampant Greek Forger lives in Kogarah, Sydney > NSW Police take note!

He usually starts these at $9.99 to reel in the bunnies. For some strange Greek reason, this one starts at $9.90. Just to mix things up a bit.

These Tasmanian imperf forgeries sadly can sell for hundreds of dollars $$ to those unware. Do not bid, they are worthless.

THE SCAM CONTINUES

Another very BAD FAKE Tasmanian 1853 1d Blue from the Greek Forger under one of his many aliases "stamp_37".

ebay item number: 143468610424
seller: stamp_37
start: 11 Dec 2019
closes: 16 Dec 2019 20:54:32 AEDST
description: 1854 1d Blue Tasmanian Courier with numeral Cancel, A GEM!!
Real description: Tasmania 1d FAKE printed on home computer!
starting price: $4.00
ImageImage
Image
Note NEW item LOCATION = Revesby, NSW. > NSW Police take note!

This trash is totally fake, printed on computer at home. The numeral postmark "60" is equally fake. Note the ye olde "hinge" put on the back to give it some age. Nice touch  Wrong ink and paper.

Super low start price to lure in the bunny bidders. Sadly these can sell for $$hundreds$$ but they are worthless fakes = worth $$ 0 $$

Report stamp_37 to Ebay using the "Report Item" button

Oh my god, MJ,s whatever,

Do you like to continue preaching to the converted, or do you just love to repeat your comments ad infinitum?

Yes, we know he is a crook.

Yes we know how how he operates.

Yes we know he is still operating.

How about posting something we don't know, instead of being so predictable and boring....

This spiv has really peeved you off more than he has peeved off other members here for some reason.

According to member gregbear he has been operating on ebay for at least 12 years and according to Rod Perry his activities go back much, much further.

He has been reported countless times to ebay and the authorities and yet nothing has changed.

So please stop boring us with repetitive drivel and do something different which might have a chance.

The way you are carrying on, its as if you were personally ripped off.

Give us something different and new!!!

corpman - and YOUR contribution to bring the attention of this spiv to a wider audience and to ebay is ..?

ZERO I am guessing.

The time taken for your pointless and petty rant could well have been better spent by lodging some Fake Items reports to ebay, and hopefully others will do too. Some drone in Bangladesh or Mumbai might well take action - stranger things have occurred at eBay.

Pro-active stuff like that has seen us have 50 ebay accounts of this conman wiped.

Not everyone acts like you in such matters - thankfully. People Power works.

The purpose of this thread is to shine light on The Greek's activities.

There are plenty of people on ebay (and new are people joining every day) that do not follow this thread. Some of those potential buyers may Google him and find this information and, as a result, be better informed.

The purpose of it is not to provide personal entertainment to people like corpman. If corpman does not wish to read this thread - and the title of it is very clearly labelled - then don't click on it. Pretty simple I would have thought.

His Tasmanian fakes have been selling for far less than they used to, so this thread is having some effect.

If one person asks for a refund from Paypal, good. If one of his accounts gets wiped, better.

The "stamp_37" account was created on 09-Jan-19.

In that time The Greek has earned only 32 feedbacks, mainly because he keeps jumping between accounts. Dodging the bullets as it were.

All of those feedbacks are positive but when you examine them, buyers are actually having negative experiences with him and are starting to say so:
"sells counterfeit stamps and he knows it!"

"Beware. Overprint turned out to be fake"

stamp_37 has also been forced to give refunds.

Ebay improvement. You can no longer use the "Report Item " button. It has been like that for the last three days. I haven't tried the direct link yet.

As Ebay ignores reports anyway, it most probably a money saving idea. Or a defence in future court action. "I see nothing, I hear nothing".

The address means nothing. It will be fake or someone else's. So of no use to the police.

This fellow has multiple ID's, as is well-known, and has multiple locations. All of them are around Western Sydney though.

Ultimately the Police can get this guy's IP address and raid him. Finding him is not as hard as some ppl believe.

Thanks for taking the time to file a report. Of course, it doesn't take just one person but lots of people to report for things to happen! :)

Ebay.com.au reporting worked fine for me on the 12/12/2019.

Not worked since. Tried ebay.co.uk, same problem. Ebay.com had a different problem.

The direct link worked OK. I got a feedback survey on how well they did. My reply was lousy as usual.

Listing ended early by The Greek Forger

https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/1854-1d-Blue-Tasmanian-Courier-w ... 3468610424

Image

This FAKE listing was supposed to end at 8.54pm on 16 Dec, but the Greek Forger ended it nearly 2 days full early. (NB: He has used this trick before).

No doubt he was feeling the heat from negative reports.

Says it is "already sold" = a lie because the Greek faked this stamp himself. What he is doing is ending it and then offering it to the top bidder at $260 - basically trying to salvage this total car crash.

The unlucky bidder/buyer should get a Paypal refund immediately!

Well done. People Power does work.

If seller ends it early not sure they have any mechanism to offer it to any specific under bidder?

AFTER an auction completes, you can make second chance offers to under bidder but not if you end it early I think?

Agree needs all these "bids" are the usual shilling by seller, seeing recent fakes have been getting sub $100.

Bidding on ANY ''Private Auction'' leaves you totally open to this shady practice.
