The Arthur Gray KGV Collection Huge Hardbound Leather Grained Deluxe Stamp Catalogue - $A75

A dealer colleague had a few boxes of these stunning catalogues, that we did a deal on.

Brand New of course, and my price below INCLUDES the full prices realised list. Essential. I'd sold out lonnnnng ago at $100 a book plus post.

The largest grossing stamp auction sale ever held here - about $3 Million and a total sell out - far more details here - https://glenstephens.com/sndecember15.html

Without doubt THE finest Auction sale catalogue ever printed in this country - more of a perpetual Australia KGV Heads and Commemoratives Handbook actually.

This sale was a combination of just two of the very many Arthur Gray “Exhibit” collections – the “Australia KGV Definitive Stamps” and the “KGV Commemorative stamps”.

They earned TEN International Large Golds between them. And many International Golds, and many top national awards too. Not bad for a bloke who had never exhibited until 1999.

The sale contained not only the “KGV heads” issues in huge depth, but all the KGV era Commemoratives, the 5/- Harbour Bridge in full sheet etc, many 1927 Canberra imperfs, and corner Plate Numbers and retouches, and re-entries, and Officials etc.

https://tinyurl.com/GrayKGV is the detailed ongoing discussion here on stampboards of this sale, and was the first report anywhere on this major event. Many of the other stamp photos from his good friend Geoff, are on that link, for those interested, plus the high prices obtained.

HUGE colour photos of all the Rarities, and deeply grained "Leather" cover etc.

Cost price from Auction house initially was $100 plus post, and for anyone who still does not have one, this deal is WAY better!

ONE Book $A75(Stock 368WF)

TWO Books - $A130 (Stock 368WG)

OVERSEAS for 1 copy, add about $A40 to above for untracked postage to most places. (Stock 368WJ)

ALL sendings use real postage stamps of course. 8)

Let me know re other queries, or extra copies etc. The 2 copy deal is a beauty - many savvy buyers will keep one, and ebay off the other(s) - (I saw one get $150 online!) or sell to a friend/s at the Club etc, hence making their copy basically "FREE" with any luck!

Order NOW, as when sold out they are gone forever. Superb reference books like these hold their re-sale value eternally. I sell the equally superb Arthur Gray ''KANGAROOS'' Auction catalogue for $225 each when I get a copy in. And they sell IMMEDIATELY.
Global Administrator - written at the time catalogue was issued wrote:
I've a box of "Gray KGV" on way to me, for anyone who wants one, as a reference "Leather" cover hard bound Library addition.

I use my "Kangaroos" every week or so, even now. The 11 page Dr. Kellow preface article in the KGV outlined above is worth getting the book for - alone!

A huge 270 x large A4 pages, and weight is 1.5 kgs or 3.3 lbs, and the best stamp auction catalogue you'll ever see, A KGV reference book in its own right.

These front cover gems found a new home at $185,000

$A75 post global post

Call it - "Gray Cat : Stock 368W?" - please order via new HTTPS encrypted SECURE site - https://tinyurl.com/GlenOrder

And please do that NOW. Too many think “I’ll do that later” and then quickly “forget”. I then lose the stamps in the rubble here, and waste an annoying hour finding them again.

All payment details etc are on: https://www.tinyurl.com/GlenPay - NICE franking is used when I mail : see member pix of that franking here - https://tinyurl.com/GlenCTO - and COMBINED POSTAGE is fine - save big money buying more than 1 lot at once!

For overseas members, to find out the approx cost in YOUR currency, click here - https://www.xe.com - the $A has CRASHED lately, and for USA buyers etc, these prices are REALLY cheap in your money!

MONEY BACK GUARANTEE - don't like it - mail it back within 48 hours of receiving it. No-one ever has yet. :)

Remember, adding another lot of mine (posted by either Admin, GlenStephens or Global Administrator or ozstamps) here (or on my website https://www.glenstephens.com/rarity.html ) for sale in general adds ZERO to your shipping cost, so have a good look at what is on offer here, in case something else appeals:

And "lay-by/layaway" is always possible - email me with any queries to glen [at] glenstephens.com - OR "trade-ins" always possible! If you have a pile of surplus stuff, I may well be happy to offset that against this item, see: https://tinyurl.com/GlenBuy

As most know - I do NO fairs or shows, have NO shop, and do NOT bother with ebay or any other auctions. I buy endless bulk lots from Estates, and distress sales etc, in this massive city of 6 million, with no other real stamp buyers, and offer it here at NETT prices for fast turnover. NO "20%-25% Buyer Fees" and “3% credit card fees” to add to my NETT prices, as in auction!

Many similar mouth-watering NETT price offers are being loaded weekly onto - https://tinyurl.com/GlenRare and https://tinyurl.com/GlenSpec

All stampboards lots $A100 and under are generally mailed Unregistered and untracked at YOUR total risk, unless YOU specifically note otherwise on order form. 1000s of my transactions here for 10 years have been safe by normal post.

Orders over $100 are normally sent Registered (PO cover is to $A100 only sadly) - cost is extra $A4 local, and minimum $A16 ($US12) extra foreign, depending on weight. Only YOU know if your street or Apartment address is secure - a large packet covered in pretty stamps left outside, just might tempt passers-by? Only YOU know that, I do not. Mail contractors these days are often lazy and leave packets on top of mailboxes etc in view of public, and/or out in wet weather etc. PO Boxes are FAR safer.

"All Risk" Insurance is always possible if required as well, and is cheap at $A2 per $100 covered - and all are strongly advised to use this, and I will, unless asked not to. Full detail on all of this - https://tinyurl.com/Glen2-15 It is like Travel Insurance - decline that when booking your ticket, and THEN tell Qantas you really meant to take it 3 weeks back, and you now need to cancel your ticket for no penalty, and see how you go with THAT one!

As per stampboard convention - this lot is offered exclusively first to board members - and on no other sales venue.

For members who make a BANK TRANSFER or Money Order etc, you WILL generally get your goods faster, as it saves me some hassle - but you MUST email me the confirmation number etc - many "forget"! :)

Still have a couple of these SUPERB "leather hard cover" books, and comes with a COMPLETE ''prices realised list'' etc, and a copy of my official dinner menu with hand calligraphy heading. :)

In 10 years time, such books will be worth FAR higher than $A75! I sell the Arthur Gray Kangaroo Auction cat for $A225 already - on the rare occasions I get one in. An essential reference.

Cost price from Auction house initially of this KGV Auction cat was $100 plus post, and for anyone who still does not have one, this deal is WAY better, for my final stock! 8)

If my fingers ever looked that look I'd be wearing dresses and not a beard!

"If my fingers ever looked that look I'd be wearing dresses and not a beard"

I'd reckon a kilt might suit you better Glen and your beard would suit quite nicely!

That colour would have to be 'shocking' pink!

Proof its not Glens hand -

Just ONE copy left now of these huge hardcover reference books left now folks, and then gone forever. $A75 plus shipping.

Complete Prices Realised list enclosed as well. Most copies out there lack this totally essential addition. An instant reference. I use mine once a week on average. For KGV heads and all the KGV era commems as well of course. 8-) 8-)

The 11 page Dr. Kellow preface article in the KGV sale catalogue outlined above, is worth getting the book for - alone!
