Huge SG ''IDEAL'' World album, Volume II, 1915-1930 SG $10,000+ $A1,250
WOW. A mega book - 350 oversize pages. Quality cloth covered hard covers - A $100s book EMPTY! Covers the ENTIRE WORLD for this period. Back then - that was possible to do in 1 huge book in that era!

Covers the period 1915 to 1930. Owner had made a pretty good start - far better filled across the board than one usually encounters for these global albums. A superb period of stamp design generally, and to complete that, will take most folks a lifetime! A noble challenge.

Formed in the UK, so book and stamps unusually nice for a Century old. Near all such collections have been raided and plundered by successive generations leaving a sad skeleton of what once was. Not this one. Untouched for 100 years basically it looks like, until I bought it from the family.
I removed only the Canada 1928 "Bluenose" mint set for stock (Cat £375, I'll advertise just those for $400 or so - a THIRD the cost of the entire book - - cat vals are meaningful in this era!) as it was in near MUH, in as issued MVLH freshness, no adhesions or hinge remains etc.
Heaps of the many mint sets here from all over the place were clearly bought as New Issues from a UK dealer, and are also fresh, bright, flat first hinge. This was the only collection they ever went into. VERY seldom seen thus.
I had a helper spend 10 hours slowly working though SG world catalogues set, and noted better items in erasable pencil for your easy checking. And that came to near spot on £5,000 for those looked up = $10,000, plus goodness knows what was overlooked.

Too busy here doing 100 hour weeks to mess about with breaking it down - indeed the family was hopeful the old book would stay intact to live on to a new Generation, and I promised I'd do my best. Be a great project for someone to take on and leave their OWN heirloom?
Catalogue values from this era actually MEANS something, for stamps often in new issue mint sets. Remember the SG cat is strictly for HINGED retail in the era, not MUH like KGVI and later issues. There are many sets here retail $100 or more, due to the fresh first hinge condition, and which are SCARCE.
JUST the Italy, France, Iceland and Belgium alone, fresh mint 1920s sets here, ex the New Issue dealer, are worth very many $100s REAL retail today.
A book of 19th Century Cat £5,000 is often meaningless, as it will be peppered without outright fakes, reprints, badly damaged, repaired oldies, and near worthless 1 or 2 margin earlies. Or a £2,000 page of heavy used GB Queen Victoria, that might sell for 5% of cat etc.
NONE of that here - just SOLID nice material, from heaps of often obscure places, that you just NEVER see offered here. Indeed the SG looks terribly low for much of that.
There are EIGHTY photos above here and that is not even 20% of the stuff in the album!

SHOW ME ANOTHER - so attractive and unplundered, from a Century back. AND so well priced.

LayBy -- Layaway of course is available for all my pricier lots - we can tailor that to suit your budet.
Only $US900 to an American buyer right now.

$A1,250 plus Global Post
Call it - "SG Ideal : Stock 367AK" - please order via new HTTPS encrypted SECURE site - https://tinyurl.com/GlensOrder And please do that NOW. Too many think “I’ll do that later” and then quickly “forget”. I then often lose the stamps in the rubble here, and waste an annoying hour finding them again.

All payment details etc are on: http://tinyurl.com/GlenPay - NICE VFU franking is used whenever possible, when I mail (depending on how busy PO counter is!) and I ALWAYS use stamps of some kind locally : see member pix of some of that franking here - http://tinyurl.com/GlenCTO COMBINED POSTAGE is fine - save big money when buying more than 1 lot at once! For overseas members, to find out the approx goods cost in YOUR currency, click here - http://www.xe.com - the $A has CRASHED lately, and for USA buyers etc, my prices are REALLY cheap in your money! MONEY BACK GUARANTEE - don't like it - mail it back within 48 hours of receiving it. No-one ever has yet.

Remember, adding another lot of mine (posted by either Admin, GlenStephens or Global Administrator or ozstamps) here (or on my website http://glenstephens.com/rarity.html ) for sale, in general adds ZERO to your shipping cost, so have a good look at what is on offer on the pages here, in case something else appeals. And "lay-by/layaway" is always possible - email me with any queries to ozstamps at g mail dot com - OR "trade-ins" always possible! If you have a pile of surplus stuff, I may well be happy to offset that against this item, see: http://tinyurl.com/GlenBuy
As most know - I do NO fairs or shows, have NO shop, and do NOT bother with ebay or any other auctions. I buy endless bulk lots from Estates, and distress sales etc, in this massive city of 6 million, with no other real stamp buyers here, and offer it here at *NETT* prices for fast turnover. NO "20%-25% Buyer Fees" and “3% credit card fees” to add to my *NETT* prices, as in auction! ZERO extra charged to use any cards - and Amex is accepted too or PayPal in ANY currency. .
Many similar mouth-watering NETT price offers are being loaded weekly onto - http://tinyurl.com/GlenRare and http://tinyurl.com/StampDeals Unless noted by me, all stampboards lots priced *$A100 and under* are generally mailed Unregistered and untracked at *YOUR* total risk, unless YOU specifically note otherwise on order form. 1,000s of my transactions here for 15 years have been delivered safely by normal post.

Orders over $100 are ALWAYS sent Registered (but Max PO cover is for $A100 only sadly) - cost is extra $A4 local. Request this on order form if you require it, under $A100. Letter size FOREIGN sendings gobally are usually only $4 untracked. Smallish large packet items FOREIGN up to 500g/1lb are normally sent in pre-paid Registered envelopes cost $17 total, near always dodging you inward VAT/GST Taxes/Fees!
Only *YOU* know if your street or Apartment address is secure - a packet covered in pretty stamps left outside, just might tempt passers-by? Only *YOU* know that, I do not. Mail contractors these days are often lazy, and leave packets or large letters on top of mailboxes etc in view of public, and/or out in wet weather etc. PO Boxes, or mailed to your work address etc, are FAR safer, if you are not home during day. If un-registered mail goes missing - sorry, your issue entirely.

"All Risk" Insurance is always possible if required as well, and is cheap at $A2 per $A100 covered locally, or $3 per $A100 overseas - and all buyers are strongly advised to use this, and I generally will add it automatically, unless asked not to. Full detail on all of this - http://tinyurl.com/Glen2-15 It is like Travel Insurance - decline that when booking your ticket, and THEN tell Qantas you really meant to take it out 3 weeks back, and ‘you now need to cancel your ticket, with no nasty penalty please’, and see how you get on with THAT one!

As per stampboards convention - this lot is offered exclusively first to board members - and on no other sales venue. For members who make a BANK TRANSFER or Money Order etc, you WILL generally get your goods faster, as it saves me some hassle - but you MUST email me the confirmation number etc - many "forget"! Phone me anytime with any queries on these stamps - 0409 399 888
