WANTED - Ireland used ''W'' and ''N'' valued stamps

Post by JPC340 »

.
Hi All,

I am looking for used examples of the W and N value stamps to add to my collection. I have a lot of the N values already but have many gaps from 2017 to present.

I have very little W rate stamps as i get most of my clippings and kiloware from family and Ireland sources. I have a few examples below.

I would also be interested in a swap if that is more favourable to some.

For those of us who live in the southern hemisphere, what are W and N stamps.

Presumably not North and West? :)

Hi

Sorry these rates are for the national and world rate of postage for a standard letter.

They have a simple letter marking in the corner of the stamp indicating the rate.

Cancelled to order (CTO) stamps can be purchased direct from the An Post philatelic bureau if you wish to go down that route. When using their order form clearly state that you want CTO in the special instructions section.

Thanks for that Erinmania. I wasnt aware that you could ask for a CTO so may do that. I usually like to collect postally used so will keep trying for that also, but good to know as i order mint sets too.

Just a bump to this to see if anybody has any W or N values from 2019 or 2020 and or any high values from 2010 onwards which cover international rates.
